Alberto Pigazo
Alberto Pigazo received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in physics (electronics) from the University of Cantabria, Santander, Spain, in 1997 and 2004 respectively, where he is currently an Associate Professor teaching courses in electronics and power electronics. He was a guest researcher at the Power Electronics Laboratory (Politechnic of Bari, Italy) and a guest professor at the Dept. of Energy Technology (Aalborg University, Denmark) and the Chair of Power Electronics (Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel, Germany). His main research interests include electrical power quality and digital signal processing techniques applied to the control of power converters, having an h-index equal to 12. Dr. Pigazo is member of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES), the Editorial Board of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine, and the IEEE IES Technical Committee on Renewable Energy Systems.
