Professor Brice Sinsin is an Agricultural Engineer and Forester, Chair of Tropical Ecology (Plants and Animals), Biodiversity and Conservator, teaching at the School of Natural resources Management, Faculty of Agronomic Sciences, Abomey-Calavi University, Benin. He teaches Biodiversity and Conservation of natural resources, Phytogeography, Phytosociology, and Rangeland Science, with 30 years of experience mainly in Africa, Belgium, Germany, France, the UK, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden, China, Thailand, the USA on Rangeland Ecology, Climate Change, Biodiversity, and Conservation, involving in science-policy activities. Head of Laboratory of Applied Ecology, former IUCN Vice President and UAC Rector, research covering Food Security and Agriculture, interactively with social and ecological systems for implicating resilience and sustainability. He is the journal editor of the Annals of Agronomic Sciences, and books editor including West African Atlas of Biodiversity (2010) and Benin Red List for Nature Conservation (2011).
