Isiaka Alimi received B.Tech. (Hons) and M. Eng. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Eng. (Communications) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), in 2001 and 2010, respectively; and PhD in Telecommunications Eng., from the University of Aveiro, in 2018. He is a researcher at the Instituto de Telecomunicações, Portugal and a lecturer at FUTA. He has hands-on experience in RF management/transmission. He is a member of the NSE, COREN and the IEEE. He has served as a reviewer in several journals and authored/co-authored over 30 papers in journals. His area of specialization is Telecommunications Eng. and his research interests include computer networking, network security, RoF, OWC, hybrid RF/FSO system, advanced signal processing, and their applications for effective resource management in the cloud-computing RANs (CC-RANs).
