Constantin Rotaru
Constantin Rotaru was born in 1958. He graduated at the Military Technical Academy, Aerospace Engineering (1982) and University of Bucharest, Faculty of Mathematics (1988). He received his Doctoral degree in Aerospace engineering from the Military Technical Academy, Bucharest 1996). From 1982 – 1991 he was working as research engineer in Romanian Minister of Defense. Since 1991 he has served as an assistant, lecturer, assistant professor and professor. He is currently working as a professor, at the 'Henri Coanda” Air Force Academy, Faculty of Aeronautical Management, Department of Aviation, Director of Department. His fields of expertise are: Computational Fluid Dynamic, Fluid Mechanics, Numerical Methods in Aerospace Sciences, Software MAPLE, MATLAB, ANSYS, FLUENT. He is a member of number of prestigious international professional associations: AIAA – American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, AHS – American Helicopter Society, Scientific Board of Advances in Military Technology Review – University of Defense, Brno, Czech Republic.
