My main interest is to generaye generate crucial insights into the internal mechanisms governing the auto-motivating properties of biological brains, thus providing basic modeling and scientific knowledge necessary for controlling and optimizing the performance of autonomous robots, bringing closer wider scenarios for human-robot interactions, communications and partnership formation. My research activities are closely integrated with education and outreach efforts: graduate students will work on the project, thus gaining cutting-edge skills and expertise in robots’ autonomy, self-activating networks and the role of simulated evolution in the establishment of complex human-robot partnership.
