Salvador Granados-Alcantar

Dr. Salvador Granados-Alcantar is the Level Candidate of SNI-CONACyT Mexico and an biologist at the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, Sinaloa, Mexico. He received his master's degree in Marine Resources from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (CICIMAR-La Paz), Mexico, and his doctorate in Marine and Coastal Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur, Mexico. He currently works as full professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, Sinaloa, Mexico and researcher of the Sinaloa System of Researchers and Technologists (SSIT-INAPI Sinaloa). He teaches Biology (Bachelor's level). His research focuses on ecology of molluscs (bivalves, gastropods) and crustaceans. He has participated in 6 research projects, given 10 seminars and 30 presentations at international and national conferences, and written 5 book chapters and 10 indexed articles. He also acted as director of 6 Bachelor thesis.
