Susan Carter

Dr Susan Carter (susan.carter@usq.edu.au) is both an educational practitioner and an academic. Susan has been an educator in schools for over 25 years in a variety of roles: teacher; teaching principal; Deputy Principal; Principal of a P-10 school; and also as a Principal of a large rural school. She has two Master of Education degrees: one in Special Education; and the other in Education Theology. She is currently a lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland. Susan is a member of Leadership Research International team. Her PhD research was in the area of how school principals maintain their Subjective Well-Being. Her research interests include: educational leaders; Subjective Well-Being; student and teacher well-being; inclusion; social justice leadership; and school wide pedagogy She has presented at several International and National conferences.
