Associate Professor Sataporn Roengtam, Ph.D. is a lecturer of the Public Administration Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University. He is currently the Chairman of Executive Committee of Bachelor Degree in Public Administration, the Deputy Director of Center of Civil Society and Nonprofit Management (CSNM) and Head of Research Group for Public Policy (RGPP) Khon Kaen University, Thailand and is an Executive Member of the Asia Pacific Society for Public Affairs (APSPA). He is an author of books such as Citizen Participation in Selected Local Governance of Asia Pacific Countries and Social Media use and Citizen Engagement in Local Government of Thailand in Management of Cities and Regions. Dr. Roengtam’s fields of interest include governance, public policy, decentralization and citizen engagement in public administration. He is also interested in conducting more research on how to increase co-governance among governments, private organizations and people in local governance. While interested in both national and international areas, he is especially interested in South-East Asian countries.
