Dr. Russell Kabir is a public health researcher and is currently working as a senior lecturer in research methods at the Department of Medical Science and Public Health of Anglia Ruskin University, UK. He obtained his MSc and PhD degrees from Middlesex University, UK. His first degree was a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has authored/co-authored many journal articles and book chapters. He is a member of the International Epidemiological Association and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. Dr. Kabir is interested in interdisciplinary research in emerging and re-emerging public health problems with a special focus on maternal health, climate change and dental public health issues.
