Wafaa Hosny
Prof. Dr. Wafaa Hosny is a professor of Inorganic chemistry in the Faculty of Science, chemistry department, Cairo University. Along her career, she tried to redesign the courses material in a way that keeps students up with the continuous advances in industry. She was a consultant for many factories technically and scientifically. Prof. Dr. Hosny held the position of R & D manager in ACCA factory for chemicals and adhesives for 10 years. This gave her the chance to provide applied training to many students. All of this made her a good fit to be the head of chemistry department 2016/2017. She has published 40 papers in international journals, refereed for many international papers and participated in two books. She also gave lectures in many organizations and international conferences as ASEE conference (Malaysia 2015) and also in National Research Center and Misr University for Science & Technology in Egypt.
