Shih-Chieh Chang

Dr. Chang obtained his PhD from the Bayreuth Institute for Terrestrial Ecosystem Research, University of Bayreuth (Germany). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, National Dong Hwa University (Taiwan). Dr. Chang is an ecosystem ecologist working on the energy, water, and nutrient budgets of forest ecosystems in Taiwan. His main research focuses on the study of subtropical montane cloud forest dominated by yellow cypress and a lowland broad-leaved plantation in Taiwan. His recent works focus on studying carbon and water fluxes using chamber, eddy covariance, and modeling methods.
