Ali Kuden is a professor of agriculture at Horticultural Department, University of Cukurova, Adana, Turkey. He has been working at the same department since 1981. He got his full professorship in 1999. His specializations is pomology, mainly pome and stone fruits. He is also working on selection, identification, and characterization studies in temperate and subtropical fruit germplasm. He has carried out various projects on fruit growing. He had professional memberships in ISHS, TSHS (Turkish Society for Horticultural Science). He contributed to one Acta Horticulturae publication as editor and as author of chapters within one IntechOpen book and several national books. He organized two international symposiums, a Turkish – German Workshop, several national meetings, and a National Horticultural Congress. He published around 143 peer-reviewed papers. 3 of his PhD students were appointed as academic staff in different universities in Turkey. At the moment, he is supervising 1 PhD and 5 master students.
