Dr. Baharak Sajjadi was born in Iran in 1984. She grad- uated in Chemical Engineering in 2008 from the Arak University (Iran) and received her master degree, ranked as the first-best student in 2010, from the same university. She completed her PhD degree in the area of biochemical processing in 2015 from the University of Malaya. Her other interests include computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulation, energy and environment, bioenergy and biofu- els and Sono-Physics. Till date, she has published more than 40 papers in high-impact research journals. She joined the University of Mississippi in the United States in early 2017 as a postdoctoral researcher and is currently a research assistant professor working on transformational solar chemical looping and photo-ultrasonic renewable biomass refinery.
