Elna Chalisserry
Elna Chalisserry is currently an adjunct Assistant Professor at Pushpagiri Research Centre, India. She obtained her bachelor's in dentistry from India and thereafter received her Master’s degree in Oral Pathology from the Queen Mary University of London. She was awarded her PhD from Pukyong National University, Busan, Korea. She has worked in the capacity of researcher and Assistant Professor at King Saud University, Riyadh and Jazan University, Saudi Arabia respectively. Her 12 years of research work comprises publishing research papers and chapters on developing bio-functional biomaterials for bone regeneration and the therapeutic potential of stem cells in various aspects of dentistry. She had the opportunity to present her work, particularly on bone regeneration in different animal models at various international conferences and workshops.
