Formerly based at the University of South Africa, Professor Bernard Nchindila currently lectures at the North West University, South Africa. He obtained a BA in Education in English, an Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Zambia, and CELTA from England. He then went on to earn his MA and Ph.D. from the University of South Africa. He has 26 years of academic research and management experience and has supervised 4 doctoral students and 2 Masters. Prof. Nchindila\'s research interests include digital humanities, reading literacy, academic English, pragmatics and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). He is a member of the Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL) for whom he has edited 3 Issues of the English for Academic Purposes Journal. Bernard Nchindila is an established rated researcher by the South African National Research Foundation.
