Professor Bernard Nchindila, formerly based at the University of South Africa, currently lectures at the North-West University, South Africa. He holds a BA in Education in English, an Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Zambia, and a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from England. He also holds a MA and PhD from the University of South Africa. Dr. Nchindila has 26 years of academic research and management experience and has supervised several graduate students. His research interests include digital humanities, reading literacy, academic English, pragmatics, and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). He is a member of the Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL) for whom he has edited three issues of the Journal of English for Academic Purposes. He is also an established rated researcher by the South African National Research Foundation.
