Prof. Dr. Amador Cernuda received his Doctorate “Cum Laude” in Psychology at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain. He is currently Professor and Deputy Director at “Alicia Alonso” University Dance Institute, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid, Spain.Prof. Dr. Cernuda is also Director of the International Research and Documentation Fund in Psychoballet and Scenic Art Therapy “Georgina Fariñas”, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid, Spain; and President of the International Scenic Art Therapy Association (ISAThA). He has received an International Research Prize in Psicoballet. Havana, Cuba 2015., and he is an International Scientific Advisor for UNESCO Psychoballet Group Cuba. Prof. Dr. Carnuda is a Member of HISTARTMED, Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana, Cuba; a Honorary Member of the Chair of Drug Prevention Unit, Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Guantánamo, Cuba; Collaborator of the Department of Hypnosis, Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Santiago de Cuba; a Member of the UNESCO International Dance Council; and a Representative of the Alicia Alonso Foundation. He is an expert and researcher in clinical, social and educational applications of the arts, especially dance. Prof. Dr.Cernuda is EUROPSY accredited in Psychology and Psychotherapy. He is an international expert applied psychologist in high performance, and has participated as a support scientist in six Olympic cycles: Seoul 1988, Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, and Beijing 2008. He has taught at different universities in America and carried out field work and research in the Amazon, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Peru Dominican Republic, China and Japan.
