Majid Nasiri Khormuji received the Ph.D. degree in telecommunications from KTH—Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden in 2011. He held a visiting position at Stanford University, Stanford, CA in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Electrical Engineering and the ACCESS Linnaeus Center at KTH. Since 2013, he is a Senior Researcher at Huawei Technologies Sweden AB in Stockholm, wherein he is conducting fundamental research for future wireless communication systems. Dr. Nasiri Khormuji has worked on problems in the area of network information theory, coding and transmission for wireless communications and statistical signal processing. He is the author of more than 50 journal and conference papers, some of which received best paper awards, and three chapters in books. He is also the inventor of numerous patent applications in a wide range of technologies spanning Multiple-Access, Modulation, Coding, MIMO, Massive MIMO and SWIPT. He has also served on the technical program committees for IEEE sponsored conferences including ICC, Globecom and WCNC.
