Passionate Scientist, Academician & Chemist - (Pure Natural Product & Plants Endophyte), Professor of Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry & Bio-Chemistry. Professor Dr. Shagufta Perveen is a Scientist III at University of Wisconsin - Madison, Wisconsin, USA prior to the current role she was a Senior Scientist at Morgan State University, Maryland, USA. She obtained her PhD. from the H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, University of Karachi, Pakistan, and the University of Southampton, Southampton, the UK in 2009, and joined as an Assistant Professor at King Saud University and promoted to Full Professor with distinctions (Distinguished). She began research on Natural Product Isolation and structure elucidation by different modern ways and techniques. She has published more than hundred original papers, five chapters and edited three books, in different ISI-listed journals. She has collaborated with many researchers in Japan, United Kingdom, United States, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Chile and Italy. She is the editorial board of many ISI WOS listed journals and reviewer of many journals. She is a fellow member of the Royal Society of Chemistry UK, Member of the American Chemical Society of the USA, Chartered Chemist and Associate Member of Royal Australian Society.
