Robert Price

Professor Price is an Emeritus Professor of Biochemistry, King’s College London. He obtained a PhD and DSc from the University of Wales and was a Fulbright Fellow at Harvard Medical School. His principal research interest is the biochemistry of renal disease. His interest in biomarkers and nephrotoxicity was central to long term collaboration with five European Laboratories. He has supervised fifty-two PhD students and published over two hundred and fifty papers, reviews, articles. He has given a number of plenary lectures and jointly organized several international conferences. He was a joint author of a Working document on the Baltic Region (St Petersburg region) sponsored by the European Parliament. He has jointly authored a number of patents and has acted as an advisor on a number of legal challenges to patents.
