Christos Volos

Dr. Christos Volos received his Physics Diploma, his MSc in Electronics, and his Ph.D. in Chaotic Electronics in 1999, 2002, and 2008, respectively, all from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He worked from 2004 to 2008 as a scientific associate at the Technological Educational Institutes of Thessaloniki and Serres. Also, from 2010 to 2014, he worked as a laboratory teaching staff at the Laboratory of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Hellenic Army Academy. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He participated in many research scientific projects related to his research interests. He is a member of the research lab of 'Nonlinear Circuits, Systems, and Complexity” of the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. His research interests include, among others, the design and study of analog and mixed-signal electronic circuits, chaotic electronics and their applications (secure communications, cryptography, and robotics), experimental chaotic synchronization, chaotic UWB communications, as well as measurement and instrumentation systems. Dr. Volos has more than 300 publications as an author or co-author in international journals, books, international conferences, and national conferences. He is also a co-editor of nine books. He participated as a reviewer or member of international program committees in 35 international conferences and he is a reviewer in more than 100 international journals. Also, he is a member of eight international journal’s editorial boards and he was a guest editor in fourteen special issues of international journals. Finally, he is a member of the following scientific societies: Hellenic Physical Society (member since 1999), Hand ellenic Radio-electronics Society (member since 2003).
