Jing Zhou
Jing Zhou received the B.Eng. degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU), China, in 2000 and the Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2005, respectively. From March 2005 to March 2007, she was a Research Fellowwith NTU. From March 2007 to March 2009, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow with Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Since March 2009, she has been with International Research Institute of Stavanger (IRIS), Bergen, Norway, where she is currently a Research Scientist. She is a coauthor of the book Adaptive Backstepping Control of Uncertain Systems (Springer, 2008). Her diligent research work has been widely recognized and published in international refereed journals and conference proceedings. She served as a reviewer for a number of refereed journals and conferences. Her main research activities are in the areas of adaptive control, robust control, nonlinear control systems, and control applications in petroleum industry.
