Linh Truong - Hong

Dr. Linh Truong-Hong is a researcher in the Department of Geoscience and Remote Sensing, Delft University of Technology, Netherlands. After completing a Marie Curie Fellowship at the same university, he obtained a BEng and MEng from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam, and a Ph.D. from University College Dublin, Ireland. He was a senior researcher at University College Dublin (2013–2018) after finishing his post-doctoral research at the Dublin Institute of Technology (2011–2013). His research interests are to develop integrated frameworks to deploy light detection and ranging (LiDAR) and photogrammetry in 3D objection reconstruction and change detection for infrastructure inspection and assessment, construction management, and a smart city. His research activity has been recognized with six peer-reviewed international awards.
