I have made my diploma in physics at the the ETH Zurich in 2004. In the course of my studies beyond the basics of physics I have been interested in programming, neuromorphic modeling, and physical simulations. In that time I have published as co- or main-author on the design of neuromorphic integrated circuits and organic semiconductor device simulation. Since 4 years I am now working with Dr. Marina Kolesnik in the life-science group of Fraunhofer FIT were we are researching neuromorphic bayesian models for image analysis and constructing a powerful framework for various image analysis tasks including object and motion recognition. We try to take cutting edge approaches into industrial grade applications. All this is also part of my Phd thesis on hierarhical Bayesian models for object recogntion.
