António M. Jordão
António Manuel Jordão is currently an assistant professor of Oenology at Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, Agrarian Higher School and member of the Chemistry Research Centre, Vila Real. He is a graduate of Agro-Industrial Engineering and has a Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology from Technical University of Lisbon. In 2006, he obtained a PhD degree in Agro-Industrial Engineering at Agronomy Higher Institute of Technical University of Lisbon. His research interests are phenolic compounds from grapes and wines, wine technology, and, in particular, the topic of wine aging process. He is a scientific editor of two books of enology. He is the author/coauthor of 40 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, 10 book chapters, and 65 communications in scientific congress. He is also a member of the editorial board of scientific journals, a supervisor of several Master’s theses in enology and has developed consultancy services for wine companies and evaluation of research projects.
