Tao Zhang

China Agricultural University

Tao Zhang is an associate professor and the deputy dean of the Department of Environment Science and Engineering, College of Resources and Environmental Sciences, China Agricultural University. He has completed his Ph.D. from Nanjing University in 2011. He has been a visiting scholar at Arizona State University in 2014 and at the University of Hohenheim in 2017. He is the director of the Circular Economy Committee of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences and Water Treatment and Recycling Committee of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences. He has published more than 40 papers in reputed journals, such as Chemical engineering journal, Bioresource Technology, journal of cleaner production, Science of the Total Environment, Chemosphere, Water Research, Waste Management, Journal of Hazardous Materials, and so on. He has 14 authorized patents and obtained the 10th innovation and entrepreneurship award of the Chinese Invention Association in 2017, the 12th China Innovation Award for Industry-University-Research Cooperation of China Industry-University-Research Institute Collaboration Association in 2018.
