Research Associate Professor at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC, and Research Chemist at the Dorn Veterans Medical Center, Columbia, SC, USA for 10 plus years. He has published 40 research articles, 38 Abstracts and Presentations, a Book Chapter and edited a book. He was awarded Research & Productive Scholarship 1990 by the Univ. South Carolina. He was funded by the grants as Co-Investigator by National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the VA Merit Review grants. His contributions include gene regulation in steroid hormone biosynthesis and the characterization of Bacillus species. He is a member of American Society of Cell Biology, American Association of Advancement of Science, The Endocrine Society, Fellow Linnean Society of London, American Association for Laboratory Animal Science, International Who’s Who Professionals, and Marquis Who’s Who in America.
