Stevan Preradovic
Dr. Stevan Preradović was born in 1982 in Sombor, Serbia. He received the Dipl. Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia in 2005 and the Ph.D degree from the Monash University, Melbourne, Australia in 2010. His Ph.D research focused on the development of a novel chipless RFID tag and associated reader for low-cost item tracking. He is currently a System Design Engineer with NEC Australia where he is currently working on system level design of 4G mobile phone chipsets and physical layer technologies for LTE. He is also an adjunct research associate at the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering at Monash University where he is currently working on chipless RFID development and postgraduate student mentoring. He has authored and co-authored around 30 refereed journal and conference papers, two book chapters and one patent. Dr. Preradović’s research interests include the design of chipless RFID tags, RFID readers, planar antennas and filters, mixed-signal circuits, 4G mobile technologies and ESL design of Systems-On-a-Chip (SoC). Dr. Preradović was the recipient of First Prize at the student challenge competition of European Microwave Week (EuMW) 2008.
