Dr. Yang Liu has undertaken the editing of this book during her work as an adjunct researcher at the Center for East Asian Economic Studies, Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University, Japan. Previously, she has been a research assistant at the JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) Research Institute, 2011–2012; researcher at the Asia Pacific Institute of Research, 2012–2014; and visiting researcher at the Institute of Social and Economic Research, Osaka University, 2012–2015. Her current research focuses on job creation and destruction, migration, human capital, wage inequality, and unemployment. She holds a PhD degree in Economics from Kyoto University (2012).
