Dr. Raul Campos-Rodriguez received the B. Eng. degree in Computer Systems from the University of Guadalajara in 2000, the Master and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the CINVESTAV-IPN, Mexico, in 2002 and 2007 respectively. From 2007 to 2011, he was research-professor at the University of Guadalajara. From 2011 to date, he is research-professor at the ITESO University. Dr. Campo-Rodriguez has directed research projects of Control, Estimation and Diagnosis in Discrete-Event Systems, Embedded systems design and implementation, within the modeling framework of Petri Nets. His main interest areas include property analysis of Discrete-Event Systems, design, implementation and efficient programming methods, real-time systems analysis and scheduling problems.
