Piotr Lijewski D Eng., is an associate professor at Poznan University of Technology, Faculty of Machines and Transport. His main area of interest is the study of combustion engines, especially with respect to exhaust emission in real operating conditions. Prof. Lijewski has conducted tests on engines of various types with a particular focus on non-road engines. He has authored or co-authored over one hundred publications including books, chapters in edited collections and papers in renown professional journals. Moreover, Prof. Lijewski has been a contractor or a principal investigator in numerous research projects and implementation projects regarding engines, hybrid or electric powertrains for busses and other types of vehicles. He is a member of the Polish Scientific Society of Combustion Engines.
