Dr. Venkata Sreenivas Puli earned a B.Sc in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry in 1997 and MSc in Physics in 2000 from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. He also obtained M.E in 2006 from Aukcland University of Technology, New Zealand and a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics in 2012 from University of Puerto Rico. His work is based on ferroelectric energy storage and multiferroic magneto electric ceramics and thin films. Currently he is working as a materials researcher at Smart Nanomaterials Solutions, Orlando, Florida, USA. He is also serving as executive team member, Flora Coating, Phoenix, AZ, USA. As well as a visiting researcher at the Department of chemistry, Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR), São Carlos, Brazil. He also worked as a research scientist and postdoctoral fellow at various prestigious academic institutions in USA, like University of Texas, Tulane University, USA etc. There, he worked on the development of thin films using pulsed laser deposition (PLD). Dr. Puli published about 60 papers in international peer review journals along with 4 book chapters. Currently he is serving as a peer reviewer for more than 25 international journals. He also served as a reviewer of international research proposals submitted under the SHENG 1 joint call to the National Science Centre (Polish-Chinese Funding Initiative-Call for proposals 2018)-NARODOWE CENTRUM NAUIK, Government of Poland (https://www.ncn.gov.pl/) and Editorial Board Member at Materials Science: Advanced Composite Materials, WHIOCE Publishing. His areas of research interests include:  Ferroelectric, ferromagnetic dielectric oxides thin films, linear dielectric, electrical ceramic materials, ceramic-glass and ceramic polymer nanocomposite materials for energy storage capacitor applications.  Thin film (polycrystalline and epitaxial growth) deposition techniques include pulsed laser deposition (PLD), chemical Vapor deposition (CVD), physical vapor deposition (PVD), Chemical Solution deposition etc.  Synthesis and characterization of various ceramic thick and thin films (polycrystalline and epitaxial growth) of Perovskite and Spniel Oxide based materials. [BaTiO3, BaSrTiO3, BaZrTiO3, PbZrTiO3 (PZT), PbFeNbO3, BiFeO3, La0.5Sr0.5CoO3, La0.67Sr0.33MnO3, CoFe2O4, NiFe2O4] for multifunctional applications.
