Post-doctoral made at TEXAS A & M UNIVERSITY, College Station, Texas (USA) and work with sedimentology and hydrology catchments modelling. Ph.D. in Soil Science, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2002). MS in Agronomy (Soil Sciences) by the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (1991). Undergraduate in Agronomic Engineering from Universidade Federal da Paraíba (1986). He is currently Associate Professor of the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco. He has experience in engineering Agronomy, Environmental and Agricultural Engineering, with emphasis on Management and Conservation of Soil and Water Conservation, Soil and Water Engineering, acting on the following topics: mechanics of erosion, sediment transport, rill and interrill erosion, design riparian zones, soil quality, sediment yield from watersheds in the semiarid, and relations of hydrology and cover of the shrubs (Caatinga). I\'m supervisor of PhD and Masters PPGSOLO / UFRPE with an average of 1.4 graduates (students post) per year, and works with projects approved by the CNPq, CAPES and FACEPE.
