Kris Jatana
Kris R. Jatana, MD, FAAP, FACS is a Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children\'s Hospital. In addition, Dr. Jatana serves as the Director of Quality Improvement in his department. He has been an author on >100 published manuscripts and book chapters, and >100 presentations at scientific meetings which have earned several national and international awards. Since 2012, he have served a leadership role on the American Academy of Pediatrics-National Button Battery Task Force and contributed to several clinical practice guideline and industry safety changes. I serve as Chair of the Pediatric Otolaryngology Advisory Council for the American College of Surgeon’s National Surgical Quality Improvement Program Pediatric. He serves on the board the Global Injury Research Collaborative (GIRC) is a nonprofit medical research organization, committed to gathering cumulative data on aerodigestive foreign bodies and caustic injuries from around the world.
