Leila Queiroz Zepka
Professor Leila Queiroz Zepka is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Food Science and Technology, Federal University of Santa Maria. She has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. She is a technical and scientific consultant of several companies, agencies and scientific journals. Professor Zepka has 420 publications/communications, which include 8 books, 30 book chapters, 70 original research papers, 300 research communications in international and national conferences and 10 registered patents. Her research interest includes microalgal biotechnology with an emphasis on biomolecules and natural pigments.
