Rodrigo Munguia

Rodrigo Munguía received a Ph.D. degree in automation and robotics from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain in 2009. Previously he obtained a M.S. degree in computer science in 2006 from the same institution, and the B.Eng. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Guadalajara (UdeG), Guadalajara Mexico in 2002. He has worked as a software engineer in companies as IBM or Continental Automotive. Currently, he is a titular professor with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Guadalajara, México. His research interests include mobile robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles, navigation systems for autonomous vehicles, automatic control, optimal state estimation, sensor fusion, computer vision, and other related topics. He has more than fifty scientific and technical publications between journal articles, chapter books, and conference proceedings. He is a member of the researcher’s national system of Mexico.
