Dr. Dongfang Yang is a Sr. Research Officer at the National Research Council Canada. He received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from University of Guelph in Canada in 1995. His research interests include laser materials processing, pulsed laser and e-beam deposition of thin film, new materials development for energy devices, chemical and optical sensors, and electrochemical studies of organic adsorption and self-assembly monolayer. He has authored 2 book chapters, 1 patent, 45 scientific articles in peer reviewed journals, and 15 papers in conference proceedings. He is currently serving as Member of Editorial Board for journal “The Research & Reviews in Electrochemistry”; “International Journal on Advances in Networks and Services”; “Current Chemical Research” and “Journal of Biochips & Tissue chips” as well as Member of Editorial Advisory Board for the journal “Sensors & Transducers”. He has also held the Adjunct Professorship at the Department of Chemistry, Lakehead University in Canada since 2006.
