Opeyemi Stella Ademowo

Postdoctoral research fellow at Aston Research Centre for Healthy Ageing, Aston University Birmingham UK. She received her BSc Biochemistry from University of Ado Ekiti, Nigeria (2007), MSc Biomedical Diagnostics from Dublin City University, Ireland (2009) and PhD Translational Medicine from University College Dublin, Ireland (2013). She is carrying out her Post-Doc study, investigating the role of lipid mediators in inflammation and pro-resolution pathways in Alzheimer\'s disease using mass-spectrometry-based approach. She is also interested in inflammation and immune response in different diseases. She has several publications including scientific papers, conference proceedings and book chapters in the field of translational medicine including biomarker discovery, immunoassays, biomedical diagnostics and cell/tissue biochemistry. She is a member of Biochemical society and Society for Free Radical Research.
