Francisco Antonio García-Morote

Francisco Antonio García Morote holds a BSc degree in Forestry Engineering (1996), an MSc degree in Agrarian Engineering (2006) and a PhD degree in Agricultural Science and Engineering (2012). He is a professor in the Higher Technical School of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering (University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Spain) and a researcher in the Renewable Energy Research Institute (IER; Environment and Forest Resources Research Group, Spain). Actually, he is the secretary of Agroforestry Science and Technology Department (UCLM). He is a lecturer (since 2001, UCLM) and teaches forest inventory, sustainable forest management, soil conservation and hydrologic planning. His current scientific activity focuses on (i) adaptive forest management (forest response to silvicultural treatments under climate change and severe drought), (ii) productivity and C cycle in Mediterranean forests and (iii) regeneration of Mediterranean forest species. He has been a research leader in 15 research projects related to forest management and a researcher in other 14 competitive projects. He is an author and a co-author of 23 papers in journals with impact factor (JCR), more than 60 conference proceedings, 15 ponences in Forestry Congress, 4 books and 13 book chapters, and he collaborated as a reviewer with 5 prestigious scientific journals (forestry and soil sciences). His international publications have received 247 citations.
