Meteorologist with Environment Canada, from early years in weather forecasting , through climate analysis and data homogeneity, and on to international activities. In WMO, have worked with World Climate Programme as project manager for development of the book \'Climate, into the 21st century\' (2003), for the Global Climate Observing System, and currently work in the area of climate information for adaptation and risk management, including aspects of liaison with user communities, and support related aspects of implementation of the Global Framework for Climate Services.
