Pongsakorn Tantilipikorn

Associate professor Dr.Pongsakorn Tantilipikorn completed his MD degree in 1992, and ENT training in Thailand in 1997. He was a rhinology fellow with Prof David Kennedy in University of Pennsylvania during 1997-1999. From 1999, he worked as an assistant professor/instructor in Chiang Mai University till 2004. During 2008-2009, he went to study with Prof Jean Silvain Lacoix at University of Geneva under the topic involved with basic science research in nasal inflammation. He currently is an Associate professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Assistant Dean (Research) of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. He is also Director of Allergy & Rhinology Division and runs the international rhinology and allergy course in Thailand every year. He has been involved in basic science and clinical researches related to rhinosinusitis and allergic rhinitis. His special interests are: nasal inflammation, mucosal immunity of nose and paranasal sinuses, endoscopic frontal surgery, pathophysiology of rhinosinusitis; and allergen immunotherapy for allergic rhinitis
