Mario Jordán
Mario A. Jordán received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering with orientation in Control Systems from the National University of San Juan, Argentina, and the Ph.D. in Control Systems from the Institute of Control at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. He held a fellowship of the Foundation for Industrial Research, Cologne, Germany, for pursuing postdoctoral work. He is an Associate Professor at the National University of the South, Bahía Blanca, Argentina, from 1995. He is a Research Fellow of the Council for Scientific and Technological Research, Argentina. He has authored many publications and participated in scientific books. He leads different technological international projects and his current scientific research at the Argentinean Institute of Oceanography. His main interests are nonlinear and adaptive control theory and systems for autonomous guidance and vision-based control of underwater vehicles.
