Ranjit Sahu

Dr. Ranjit Sahu currently works as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. He received his PhD from the Central Food Technological Research Institute, University of Mysore, India. His research interests revolve around understanding Disease Mechanisms and Development of Diagnostics for Clinical Implementation. His area of expertise includes FTIR-Microscopy, Fluorescence Spectroscopy, Cell Biology and Protein Chemistry. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Ben Gurion University, Israel and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY, USA. He has coauthored many papers in infrared spectroscopy of cancer cells and tissues which is a rapidly growing area in medical diagnosis relevant to clinical conditions. FTIR based diagnosis of diseases is an ever expanding area of research and Dr. Sahu continues to contribute to this field of research.
