Adham Abdou

Dr. Abdou is a Professor of the Food Science Dept. Food Control, at Benha University. He graduated from Cairo University and has research experience from Japan where he conducted his Ph. D. and postdoctoral research work at Pharma Foods International Co., Ltd. Japan. While in Japan, he worked on the invention of new functional food ingredients that have great health benefits. He has a long experience in teaching and research in the area of food science, especially dairy science, food hygiene, functional foods, and functional food ingredients. Also, while living in Japan, he realized that the research he was conducting on the Japanese market and other markets internationally with innovative functional food products and ingredients is already used in Japan, the USA, Europe, and the Middle East. He has 3 patents registered at the Japan Patent Agency. Dr. Abdou has published in national and international periodicals and peer-reviewed journals, attended many conferences nationally and internationally, and was appointed as a peer-reviewer for international journals.
