Professor Ketevan Nemsadze is an author of more than 100 articles, two monographs, thirteen recommendation/guidelines, and four teaching modules of the Effective Perinatal Care training package in collaboration with the World Health Organization’s Regional Office for Europe. She is chief editor of nine textbooks and co-author and editorial board member of thirty-five others. She is a recipient of two copyright certificates and a patent certificate for inventions made in the field of sepsis management. She was also Advisor-Neonatologist of Ukraine presidential initiative “New Life.” Professor Nemsadze is a recipient of numerous awards, among them a certificate from the Agency for Educational Development of the Government of the United States of America (AED/Washington) and a Southeast European Medical Forum (SEMF) Award for contribution to medical science development. Professor Ketevan Nemsadze has played a leadership role in the development and management of child health and development programs. She has long-standing working experience at local and international levels involving elaboration and organization of healthcare policy and strategy and development and implementation of guidelines and protocols. From her position as president (2002–2004) of NGO/UNICEF Regional Network for Children of CEE/CIS and Baltic States, Professor Nemsadze has been able to shape policy and strategy to meet the changing needs of child rights.
