Rosa Angela Canuto

A Graduate in Biological Science and in Medicine and Surgery, prof. Canuto is a full professor of General Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Turin University. She was in charge of national research projects, and the scientific organizer of conferences. Her research activity is in two fields: experimental oncology and tissue regeneration. The aim of the first field is to increase the knowledge on the importance of PUFA as preventive factors or as coadjuvant drugs in cancer. The aim of the second field is to study the biocompatibility and the colonization of new bone substitutes or hernia prostheses, able to induce the bone or peritoneum production. Her activity has been the subject of several full-length publications, and several conference papers.
