Sonia Soloneski

Sonia Soloneski has a PhD in Natural Sciences and is an assistant professor of molecular cell biology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Museum of La Plata, National University of La Plata, Argentina. She became a member of the National Scientific and Technological Research Council of Argentina in the field of genetic toxicology. Presently, she is a member of the Latin American Association of Environmental Mutagenesis, Teratogenesis and Carcinogenesis, the Argentinean Society of Toxicology, and the Argentinean Society of Genetics. She has authored more than 350 scientific publications, including scientific publications in research papers, reviewed journals, and conference papers worldwide. She is a referent for issues in the field of genetic toxicology, mutagenesis, and ecotoxicology.

Its programs use current and comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interactions with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment.
