Rajnikant Mishra

The Editor is a Biochemist and Molecular Biologist with Ph.D. in Zoology from Banaras Hindu University. He is the recipient of Junior, and Senior Research Fellowships, and Senior Research Associate ship (Scientist Pool) of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (C.S.I.R), young scientist awardees of the Department of Science & Technology, India, and Postdoctoral fellowship with honorable mention in the category of basic science research for the top 10% for the abstract scores, and ranked in the top 3 for the poster competition among trainees of 2000-2001 at U.T.-M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA. He has twenty years of research and teaching experience in the area of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Bioinformatics. His research team works to understand mechanisms of functions of paired box family transcription factors in adult neurogenesis, ocular defects, and lymphoma. He had published more than 25 research articles in International journals of repute including a book-chapter on “Gene Targeting”.

The complexity of problem understanding biochemical and molecular basis of healthy life, and eagerness to find simple solution necessitate evolution of technology like mutagenesis.
