Cornelius Weber
Cornelius Weber received the Diploma degree in physics, from the University of Bielefeld, Bielefeld, Germany, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science with the Technische Universität Berlin, Berlin, Germany, in 2000.He is a Laboratory Manager with the Knowledge Technology Group, University of Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow of Brain and Cognitive Sciences with the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA. From 2002 to 2005, he was a Research Scientist of Hybrid Intelligent Systems with the University of Sunderland, Sunderland, U.K. He was a Junior Fellow with the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, until 2010. His current research interests include computational neuroscience with a focus on vision, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning.
