Leszek Malkinski
Dr. Leszek Malkinski received his Ph.D. degree in Physics in 1991 from the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences for his study of magnetoelastic effects in amorphous alloys. He gained his experience in magnetic materials working as a visiting scholar in the leading magnetic laboratories in Poland, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland and the U.S.A. Since 2002 he has been with the Department of Physics and the Advanced Materials Research Institute of the University of New Orleans, U.S.A where he currently holds a position of Associate Professor of Physics and Materials Science. He is an editor of “Nomagnetism” and a co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed articles on magnetoelastictiy, exchange bias, spintronics, multiferroics and spin dynamics.
