Vasyl Morozhenko

Institute of Semiconductor Physics Russia

Vasyl Morozhenko graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine and received diploma in Optics of solid in 1983. After that he joined V. Lashkaryov Institute of Semiconductor Physics in Kyiv as a researcher. In 1994 he received his PhD degree in physics on semiconductors and dielectrics. Dr. Morozhenko\'s dissertation covered research on the effect of external influences on infrared emission of semiconductors. From August 1998 to November 1999 he worked as NAS/NRC resident researcher in the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD, USA. During this period of time he worked on infrared heterodyne spectroscopy of gases. After completing this research program he returned to the V. Lashkaryov Institute of Semiconductor Physics, where he works until now. Currently he holds an appointment as a senior staff scientist. His research interests are infrared spectroscopy, optical and emitting properties of semiconductors and semiconductor resonant structures and effect of external influences on them, optical, optoelectronic and magnetooptical devices for infrared optics.
